Metallic Alloy Powder Cores – Magmattec

Metallic Alloy Powder Cores

Magmattec has on its portfolio Metallic Alloy Powder cores for special applications, when the equipment performance is its competitive advantage. We have the following alloys: Sendust, Nanodust, and Fe-Si Powder, they have higher permeability and lower power losses than most iron powder cores.

Sendust Core

Application: High frequency converters filters (above 50 kHz), inductors for class D amplifiers.
Characteristic: Low power losses, Works at temperatures up to 200 °C without losing their magnetic properties, saturation level of 1,05 T.
Advantages: size reduction for the component. Better efficiency gain.
Benefits: Smaller dimensions for the final product, might reduce the heat sink dimensión, has a better overload operation regime.
